Applying our transfers is super simple. Follow the steps and instructions below to achieve perfect results on your next project!
1) Use Teflon Sheets, or Kraft Paper.
It’s good to protect your garment or item with Teflon sheets or Kraft paper. This minimizes heat-lines and edges where your cutout transfer ends.
2) Calibrate Your Heat Press.
You will need to use a quality heat press with a temperature gage that is accurate and heats evenly. You should verify that your temperature is correct (295 – 310 degrees Fahrenheit ) each and every time you start a new pressing cycle. An Infrared (IR) Temperature Guns (Contactless) can be used to ensure that your temperature is accurate.
3) Pressure, Pressure, Pressure.
DTF transfers will give you a quality and long-lasting decoration solution, but you HAVE to ensure you are using adequate and even pressure for 12-18 seconds. This will ensure the formula properly adheres to your garment. Not using enough pressure can result in poorly applied plastisol transfers.
4) Wait…
Wait until after the first press is done, then remove and slowly peel off the transfer film. *Note: do not rip it off like a Band-Aid but more like a slow page turn.
On volume runs, we suggest you press all of the transfers the first time, then go back and peel off the transfer film for your second press.
5) Press Again:
Press the print a second time for 12-15 seconds with a Kraft paper covering.
6) Water resistant, waterproof, and fireproof garments:
We recommend testing a sample on your item before production. Water resistant, waterproof and fireproof garments may not accept a heat transfer application.

Peel: HYBRID Peel
Repeat Press: 12-15 Seconds
*Tri-Blends* may require a higher temperature (up to 320 Degrees Fahrenheit) with a longer press duration.
